Mode Dubai launches a new fashion event this winter

The event bridges the gap between luxury and high-street fashion.

As Dubai’s fashion scene continues to evolve, so does our exposure to speciality boutiques, retail trends, and regional and international talent. Earlier this year, the inaugural edition of Dubai Fashion Week – formerly known as Arab Fashion Week – took over d3, showcasing collections ranging from couture to ready-to-wear. Now, Mode Dubai is gearing up for its first instalment which takes place at Festival Arena from 1 to 3 December.

The Autumn/Winter edition will showcase premium international brands and emerging boutiques, and bridge the gap between luxury and high-street fashion. Rooted in retail indulgence, Mode Dubai offers visibility to international names that have been unavailable in the UAE. Emerging boutiques in the region will also be showcased, as will offerings from the beauty space. Lookout for the nail bar, brow station, and makeover station.

Hosted by Modern Productions, the event hopes to engage attendees with insightful interviews, thought-provoking panel discussions, and six daily catwalk shows. The first three will be Mode trend shows, where each look will creatively combine pieces from various designers.

The remaining three shows will feature individual designers. Both shows offer a twist, as See Now, Buy Now allows you to buy the look off the runway. Above all, inclusivity is key to Mode Dubai’s mission is to redefine the country’s fashion landscape.

“Modern Productions is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Autumn/Winter edition of Mode Dubai, where we have scoured the globe to bring the finest of fashion to the UAE,” says Tommy Lee, Managing Director at Modern Productions.

“Our team has passionately designed and curated this extraordinary event, going to great lengths to make it an experience to remember. Unlike traditional fashion weeks that are often exclusive and closed off, Mode Dubai is inclusive and invites everyone to be a part of the experience. We aim to create a platform that celebrates diversity, innovation, and the boundless creativity of the fashion industry.”
