Staycation Spotlight: Beachfront chic at Address Beach Resort

There’s a lot to admire at the 77-storey JBR property that’s home to the world’s highest infinity pool. FACT takes you inside the super chic Address Beach Resort.

If there’s one thing that Dubai knows how to do well, it’s 5-star hotels. We’ve experienced our fair share of stunning properties across the city, however, nothing had prepared us for a stay at the first beach resort in the Address hotel’s portfolio.

It’s often difficult to blend city vibes with a resort feel, all whilst maintaining brand identity and prestigious services, so when we step into a hotel that marries all of these hospitality elements seamlessly, we want to shout about it! And all of this in the bustling Jumeirah Beach Residence neighbourhood – we’re suitably impressed. 

The lobby at Address Beach Resort is worthy of its own Instagram account. Adorned with elegant furnishings and slender trees strung with twinkling fairy lights, it’s like walking into a living room where you can hang out with your nearest and dearest in the most tasteful surroundings. Our check-in is fast and smooth, and we’re comfortably settled in our Deluxe Marina View Room within minutes.

Luxury Lifestyle:

Minimalistic yet sophisticated, the hotel’s interiors feature the typically elegant Address Hotels and Resorts design, which provide an inviting atmosphere for vacationers. From the quality of the materials to the composition of the colour schemes, each of the rooms and suites at Address Beach Resort has been designed with utmost care and dedication, offering ultra-modern amenities and equally spectacular views. 

The waters of the Arabian Gulf beckon through floor-to-ceiling windows of our Deluxe Marina View Room, while premium in-room comforts are available around the clock, providing a sense of unrestrained luxury.

As far as rooms, this has to be one of the classiest that we’ve stayed in. Space is no issue here, and at 45sqm, the luxurious but understated room is essentially an uber-chic apartment with all the hotel facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. There’s a lavish bedroom complete with a flat-screen TV, writing desk, mini-bar and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the most spectacular views of Dubai Marina with its yachts and traditional wooden abras. The bedroom is a haven for a good night’s sleep, whether you’ve spent the day at the beach or taking it easy by the pool, rest assured that a comfy bed awaits.

We fully appreciate the automated in-room iPad service where we can control everything from the air conditioning temperature to the lighting levels and even the television! The high-speed internet is fast, and best of all is the luxurious bathroom with its freestanding tub, separate walk-in rainfall shower and double sinks, all accented by beautiful gold fixtures. 

Refined Relaxation:

Address Beach Resort is ideal for those looking to flop on the sand for a few days. Situated at the quieter end of the JBR beachfront, the hotel boasts a large swathe of powder-white sand and spectacular swimming pools with landscaped terraces, including an adult pool (currently closed until 22 May 2021), family pool, and kids splash pad. Keeping things family-friendly, the Qix Club is a wonderful space for children, fully supervised and designed to educate and entertain.

The main draw at Address Beach Resort is likely to be the adults-only infinity pool located on Level 77, accessed via its own lift from the hotel lobby. Being the world’s highest infinity pool, the demand is currently high. And although access is only permitted to hotel guests, there is a waiting list to access the rooftop haven due to the capacity of the elevated space during busy times.

This landmark location which soars 293.906m above sea level, is well worth the wait! Those lucky enough to secure a sun lounger will be rewarded with Insta-Worthy views across Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf from a slender body of water measuring 94.84m in length and 16.50m in width. It’s just as dreamy as you’d imagine, especially during sunset hours. This is where the resort feels truly kick in! 

Those seeking something more laidback can visit The Spa, a calm and quiet space on the 75th floor that offers enriching experiences for every mood and occasion. The Spa, with its nine serene treatment rooms, separate ladies and gents areas with invigorating steam rooms, soothing saunas, and relaxation lounges, quite literally elevate the hotel experience.

A Fitness Centre extends the emphasis on wellness with a positive, invigorating atmosphere. In addition to advanced equipment that caters to various training styles, the impressive 24-hour facility also features stunning waterfront views over Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island.

Unique Dining:

Address Beach Resort delivers one of a kind culinary experiences, whether that be dining beside the world’s highest infinity pool at ZETA Seventy Seven or feasting on a unique fusion of Lebanese and Brazilian cuisine at the aptly named Li’Brasil. When it comes to food, Address Beach Resort certainly keeps things sophisticated. 

If you’re looking for something a little more casual yet stylish, check out The Beach Grill, which serves up light meals and beverages against a beachfront backdrop. This chic area of the hotel exudes panache and is the perfect destination for breaking up your day poolside, a stone’s throw from the restaurant.

The Restaurant is where we take breakfast, a simple yet creative concept based on the homely and comfortable feel of an actual apartment.
