Indian Hotels Company Limited now boasts a Taj property on The Palm.
Whether they’re located in an urban metropolis or an untouched national park, Taj hotels worldwide personify tradition and warmth, marrying luxury with Indian hospitality. As for the setting of the latest Taj outpost? Everyone’s favourite man-made island.
Nestled between Arabian Sea waters and the city skyline in the heart of Palm Jumeirah, the newly opened Taj Exotica Resort & Spa marks the third Taj hotel in the country. Reflecting the very best of the brand, the luxury beachfront resort houses 325 elegantly styled rooms and suites, an array of culinary experiences, and holistic wellness at the award-winning Jiva spa. Elsewhere, a private beach, the longest pool in Palm Jumeirah, and contemporary interiors designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates accent each stay.
Guests can embark on a sensorial culinary journey across the resort’s many dining options. Be it Indian fine dining at Varq, a unique gastropub experience at Roaring Rabbit, an Arabesque atmosphere at rooftop bar and lounge Raia, international fare at Palm Kitchen, or coastal delicacies at beachside bistro The Coast, there’s something for every palate. Meanwhile, all-natural spa Jiva is rooted in traditional Indian healing techniques and features the likes of Ayurvedic treatments, yoga classes, meditation sessions and more. And because no beachfront resort is complete without family-friendly amenities, The Popsicle Kids Club comprises both a dedicated shallow water pool and a playground.
Commenting on the launch, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indian Hotels Company Limited said, “This opening is in line with our strong focus to be present in global growth markets. With the addition of Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, IHCL expands to strengthen its footprint in Dubai. We are honoured to partner with the Arenco Group to bring Taj’s signature hospitality to Palm Jumeirah, one of the world’s most exciting destinations.” Bonus: one more Taj property is currently in the works in the country.
