Drake is bringing OVO back into the Octagon. October’s Very Own and UFC have announced their second collaborative apparel collection, bringing together the worlds of mixed martial arts, streetwear and contemporary culture.

Launching on Friday, 21 August 2026, the UFC x OVO capsule builds on the partnership between the global martial arts organisation and the Canadian lifestyle brand founded by Drake, Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib.

Rather than focusing on technical performance wear, the collaboration takes UFC’s instantly recognisable fight culture and translates it into pieces designed for everyday wardrobes. The collection includes hoodies, athletic jerseys, graphic T-shirts and long-sleeve tops, bringing together fighter-inspired graphics and UFC x OVO branding.

OVO’s signature owl appears alongside imagery inspired by UFC history, creating a crossover between Drake’s streetwear universe and the visual language of the Octagon. The collection also includes references to personalities connected to UFC culture, with pieces paying tribute to Hasbulla Magomedov and current welterweight champion Islam Makhachev.

The timing of the Makhachev tribute is particularly fitting. The Russian fighter defeated Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision at UFC 330 in Philadelphia on Saturday, 15 August, successfully defending his welterweight title. The victory extended Makhachev’s UFC winning streak to 17 consecutive fights, setting a new record for the longest winning run in the organisation’s history.

Leading the campaign is Mike Malott, the Canadian welterweight contender who brings a direct connection to the sport behind the clothing. His involvement also strengthens the Canadian thread running through the project, linking OVO’s Toronto roots with one of Canada’s leading UFC athletes.

The campaign positions the collection at the intersection of sport and lifestyle rather than treating it as traditional fight merchandise. With oversized graphics, recognisable UFC references and OVO’s established visual identity, the pieces are designed to appeal to followers of both brands while continuing the wider crossover between combat sports, music and streetwear.

The second UFC x OVO collection launches online on Friday, 21 August at 10am ET.
