• Casa Verde, Wildfire and Sushi Club are scheduled to open on 2 November 2026.

  • Casa Verde will feature Italian dining, a salumeria and an outdoor patio.

  • Wildfire will focus on open-flame cooking, while Sushi Club will occupy the top two floors.

Three new restaurants will bring Italian dining, live-fire cooking and rooftop views to the former Telegraph building.

Fleet Street was the traditional home of the media, and its next chapter centres on food. Emerald Hospitality Group is preparing to open Casa Verde, Wildfire and Sushi Club within the former Daily Telegraph building, creating three distinct dining destinations at one London address. The restaurants are scheduled to welcome guests from 2 November 2026, according to Hot Dinners.

The project is a partnership between property owner Regis Group and Emerald Hospitality Group, co-founded by brothers Arian and Alberto Zandi. The operator’s current restaurant collection includes Como Garden, Bottega 35 and Riviera, with the Fleet Street openings adding Italian, live-fire and Asian dining concepts to its portfolio.

Known as Peterborough Court and now also referred to as Daniel House, the building will combine offices with restaurants across several floors. Interiors for the three venues are being created by Lázaro Rosa-Violán Studio, whose hospitality projects include Amazónico in Mayfair and Soho House Barcelona.

On the ground floor, Casa Verde will take an Italian approach, combining a restaurant with its own salumeria, or Italian deli, and an outdoor patio.

Head to the seventh floor for Wildfire, where an open-flame grill will sit at the centre of the experience. The restaurant will offer a menu of prime cuts, seafood and seasonal produce, with fire shaping the cooking throughout. Rich, ember-inspired colours will carry the theme into the room, while a varied wine list will accompany the food.

Above it, Sushi Club will occupy the eighth and ninth floors. Emerald describes the concept as pan-Asian fusion, with rooftop views over the city adding another dimension to dinner. Spread across the building’s top two levels, it will complete a collection that moves from Italian dining downstairs to flame-led cooking and an Asian offering above.

For the openings, the Peterborough Building has been transformed into a multipurpose development with offices and restaurants. Built in the 1880s, it boasts a beautiful Art Deco design. The venue’s name draws inspiration from the area, Peterborough Court. Plus, it references The Telegraph’s political column, Peterborough Diary.
