Forbici will offer Neapolitan pizzas in London.

Pizza lovers, we have some delicious news. Forbici is expanding from Manchester to London, and is gearing up for two openings in the capital. The exact dates and location have not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.

Part of the Individual Restaurants Group, Forbici has quickly built a loyal following. Following the success of its restaurants in Manchester and Sheffield, Forbici is one of the fast-growing pizza brands in the country. The aim is to bring not one, but two new locations to the capital in the coming months, and another opening in Manchester.

Forbici prides itself on offering authentic Neapolitan pizza. The menu celebrates traditional Italian craftsmanship, with long-fermented dough, premium ingredients and pizzas served the classic Neapolitan way – cut into quarters with scissors, ready to fold, enjoy and eat.

The London openings are just the beginning, as the brand aims to grow to more than 20 sites across the country. Chief executive Andrew Garton said: “It’s more than our expectations. The reviews are amazing, the margin is good, and the sales are great. If we can find the money ourselves to open 20, we’ll open 20”.

If the existing menus of Forbici are anything to go by, Londoners are in for a treat. The speciality pizzas include Americana, Bufalina, Diavola, and Margherita. White base pizzas are available, and range from a Napoletana to Porcini E Tartufo. Plus, there is a kids’ and vegan menu.
