Macklemore brings the Free Palestine Tour to OVO Arena Wembley on 30 October 2026.
Proceeds will benefit organisations providing humanitarian, medical and community support to Palestinians.
The tour follows Macklemore’s removal from Ed Sheeran’s US Loop Tour after his pro-Palestinian statements.

London’s concert calendar has another major date to add to the diary. Macklemore will bring his newly announced Free Palestine Tour to OVO Arena Wembley on Friday, 30 October 2026. The concert will bring the American rapper together with artists and friends for a show centred on Palestine. The identities of the special guests have not yet been announced.
The London concert follows shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on 26 October and Paris’ Accor Arena on 29 October, with North American dates due to follow. All proceeds from the concerts will benefit organisations working across medical care, humanitarian assistance, education, community support and advocacy for Palestinians.
Born Benjamin Haggerty in Seattle, Macklemore spent years building an independent following before joining forces with producer Ryan Lewis. Their breakthrough came with 2012 album The Heist, which climbed to number two on the Billboard 200 and transformed the pair into global stars. “Thrift Shop” became an international phenomenon, while “Can’t Hold Us” helped establish their distinctive mix of playful pop-rap and socially conscious songwriting. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis went on to win four Grammy Awards in 2014, including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
Macklemore continued his success beyond the partnership with Lewis. His 2017 solo album Gemini produced “Glorious” with Skylar Grey and “Good Old Days” with Kesha, while his collaborations have ranged from ScHoolboy Q and Lil Yachty to Martin Garrix and Rudimental.
Activism has also been a recurring part of Macklemore’s career. “Same Love” emerged as an anthem supporting marriage equality and was performed at the 2014 Grammy Awards during a televised ceremony in which 33 couples were married. More recently, his focus has turned towards Palestinian rights. In 2024, he released “Hind’s Hall”, with proceeds supporting UNRWA, followed by “Hind’s Hall 2” featuring Palestinian-American singer Anees, Gazan rapper MC Abdul and comedian Amer Zahr.
The new tour arrives following one of the most controversial episodes of Macklemore’s career. Earlier this month, he was removed from the remaining US dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour after making pro-Palestinian statements during a performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Sheeran later said that the decision to remove the rapper was not his.
The fallout grew when support acts Finneas, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe and Beoga withdrew from forthcoming shows. Macklemore later pledged his $1 million in net earnings from his time on the tour to organisations supporting Palestinians. Sheeran subsequently addressed the controversy during his Philadelphia concert, apologising for mistakes and describing the humanitarian situation in Gaza as “catastrophic, unjustifiable, and disproportionate.”
