Burgers and Champagne? Now that’s a pairing we can get behind. Notting Hill’s latest restaurant opening puts the two centre stage, with a chef whose CV includes some of London’s most celebrated kitchens. Opening on Monday, 5 October 2026, Milk Burger will serve familiar comfort food with a little extra indulgence at 50 Westbourne Grove.
Jorge Paredes leads the kitchen, previously at Sabor and the FACT award-winning OMA. His latest move swaps the setting of those acclaimed restaurants for a casual burger and Champagne concept, applying his culinary experience to food you can pick up with your hands.
The menu’s early highlights suggest this will be more than a straightforward cheeseburger stop. A Bone Marrow and Truffle Burger takes the indulgent route, while a Spicy Smash Burger offers another reason to roll up your sleeves. There is also a Cuban sandwich for anyone looking beyond the buns. The full menu has yet to be unveiled, but these first dishes hint at the kitchen’s direction.
Save room for something sweet, too. Soft serve and fried cherry pie are among the planned desserts, keeping the comfort-food theme running through to the final course. Champagne will be a focus of the drinks offering, alongside wine and cocktails.
Hospitality entrepreneurs Alina Kosichkina and Dima Zakhodiakin are behind Milk Burger. The duo built a portfolio of 32 restaurants in Kyiv before relocating to London. This opening marks their first restaurant in the capital, introducing their approach to hospitality to a new neighbourhood.
The address has its own burger history, having previously housed Gourmet Burger Kitchen. For its next chapter, designer David Archer, whose previous projects include Chiltern Firehouse and The Standard, has created two distinct settings. Burgundy tiles give one dining space a warmer feel, while pale blue tones and timber set a lighter mood in the other.
Milk Burger will open daily from 12pm to 9pm and operate on a walk-in-only basis.
