• Ralphie’s marks Chef Tom Booton’s solo restaurant debut, opening in late November 2026.

  • The menu focuses on British produce, comforting classics and Sunday lunches.

  • The restaurant includes a 40-seat dining room, terrace and 14-seat private dining space.

British comfort food, Sunday roasts and a menu for dogs will feature at the chef’s first solo venture.

British comfort food and a much-loved Maltipoo are the starting points for Ralphie’s, Chef Tom Booton’s debut solo restaurant. Opening on Pimlico Road in Belgravia in late November 2026, the restaurant takes its name from his dog and will welcome diners daily.

With experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, including Alyn Williams at The Westbury, Booton is turning his attention to a neighbourhood restaurant built around the dishes he enjoys cooking and eating. His upbringing in Colchester will help shape a menu that gives familiar recipes a playful twist, with British produce central to the cooking.

Sunday lunch looks set to be a particular draw. Diners can choose rump of Hereford beef with horseradish and watercress, or a Yorkshire pudding filled with leg of lamb in a take on shepherd’s pie, accompanied by mint sauce. A whole stuffed Sutton Hoo chicken with bread sauce also joins the line-up, while Booton’s signature cauliflower cheese features among the trimmings.

Across the à la carte offering, seafood lovers can start with crispy cod cheek scampi and tartare sauce. Beef tartare takes a different approach, pairing potato chips with shavings of dried beef heart. For something heartier, there’s pork and mushroom pie served with charcuterie sauce, alongside moules marinière and daily specials. Dessert keeps the nostalgic mood going with a vanilla soft-serve sandwich accompanied by hazelnut and fudge sauce.

The setting will include a 40-seat dining room and an outdoor terrace. Downstairs, The Den offers space for 14 guests, with the private dining room overlooking the kitchen.

Ralphie’s canine namesake gets more than a mention above the door. A dedicated dog menu will feature pigs in blankets and crispy fish skin rolls, presented in bespoke bowls by British chinaware maker William Edwards.

Wine consultant, judge and educator Emma Robinson is developing the wine list, while drinks expert Pritesh Mody is overseeing the drinks selection.

Tom said: “Ralphie’s has been a long time coming, so I’m genuinely so excited to finally share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes for the past few years – my debut restaurant. The food is rooted in the things I love to cook and eat, with great produce at the heart of it. I want Ralphie’s to feel like a proper neighbourhood restaurant – a place that feels warm, welcoming and full of life, with really good food at the centre of it.”
