The Egyptian superstar will return to the capital for his first London performance in eight years.
London is calling, and one of the Arab world’s biggest stars is answering. Egyptian singer, songwriter and actor Tamer Hosny will perform in London at OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday, 31 October 2026, marking his long-awaited return to the British capital.
The one-night-only concert will be Hosny’s first London appearance in eight years. It will also make him the first Arabic and Middle Eastern artist to headline an arena concert in the United Kingdom promoted by Live Nation.
Hosny’s journey began in 2002 when he appeared alongside Sherine Abdel Wahab on Free Mix 3. The album became a major success across the Middle East and introduced two emerging Egyptian voices who would go on to shape contemporary Arabic pop. Hosny followed the project with his debut solo album, Hob, in 2004, establishing himself as a romantic pop star with a talent for combining emotionally direct lyrics, sweeping melodies and dance-friendly production.
Over the following two decades, he developed into a multi-hyphenate entertainer, working as a singer, composer, producer, director and actor. His popularity earned him the nickname “Star of the Generation”, while his film career expanded his appeal beyond music. He has appeared in commercially successful Egyptian productions, including the Omar & Salma film series, helping to make him one of the region’s most recognisable entertainment figures.
His extensive catalogue includes fan favourites such as “Nour Einy”, “Ya Bent El Eh”, “Ana Wala 3aref”, “Erga3ly”, “Heya Di” and “Eish Besho’ak”. Recent releases have also connected with a new generation of listeners. His collaboration with Al Shami, “Maleket Gamal El Kon”, has become one of his most-streamed contemporary tracks, while “Hormone El Saada”, “Ya Ta3ebny” and “Howa Da Ba2a!!?” remain among his most popular songs on streaming platforms.
Hosny’s career has also included international collaborations and major public honours. In 2019, his fans helped secure a Guinness World Records title for the most contributions to a bulletin board, with 12,086 messages collected during an activation at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi.
For Hosny’s British and Arab diaspora fans, the evening offers a chance to revisit more than 20 years of music in one of London’s most established venues. For the wider industry, it signals that Arabic pop is no longer confined to specialist concerts and regional festivals. It belongs on the arena stage.
