Paddington’s dining and nightlife scene is getting another major addition. Torino, a new Italian restaurant, bakery and rooftop bar, is preparing to open at Paddington Square in mid-September 2026.
Located moments from Paddington station, the three-storey venue describes itself as an Italian “social house”, bringing together several dining experiences under one roof. From morning coffees and pastries to Italian dinners and rooftop drinks, Torino is aiming to become an all-day destination for the neighbourhood.
The arrival follows the opening of CÉ LA VI London at Paddington Square in 2025, as the development continues to introduce new restaurants and bars to an area traditionally better known as a transport hub than a dining destination.
Torino will begin on the first floor with its bakery. Opening from breakfast, the space will serve Italian coffee alongside baked goods and lighter dishes. As the day progresses, the menu will transition towards small plates, making it suitable for everything from a morning caffeine fix to an early evening bite.
Upstairs, the restaurant will turn its attention to Italian cooking. While full menu details have yet to be revealed, dishes will include octopus served with tomato XO, cured egg yolk and confit garlic. Torino appears to be taking familiar Italian flavours and combining them with more contemporary ingredients and techniques.
The main attraction, however, will be found at the top of the building. Torino’s rooftop bar will offer panoramic views across London, giving Paddington another elevated drinking destination. The drinks list will cover Italian favourites including spritzes and wines, accompanied by a food menu centred around sharing plates.
The interiors at Torino London are being created by Fettle, the design studio behind a growing collection of hospitality projects across the capital. Its previous work includes La Brasseria in Notting Hill and several San Carlo restaurants, giving the team plenty of experience when it comes to Italian-inspired spaces.
