Sheikh Hamdan welcomes a new baby boy

The third child is named Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

Congratulations, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his family. Sheikh Hamdan revealed on Instagram that his family welcomed a new baby boy.

The newborn’s name is Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. He was born on 25 February, 2023, and the family have received an outpouring of messages wishing them well.

Sheikh Hamdan shared the news on Instagram stories. The image showed a graphic of adult hands holding a baby’s feet. The post read: “Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. It’s a boy”. Plus, a prayer read: “”Dear God make him bloom well and make him the sight of our eyes and make him a blessing for us.”

Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikha Shaikha bint Saeed married in May 2019. The pair already have a set of twins, which include a girl and a boy. Rashid and Shaikha were born in May 2021, and will be two years old this year. 

Sheikh Hamdan’s popular Instagram account, @faz3, has over 15.4 million followers. His Instagram bio declares: “Every picture has a story and every story has a moment that I’d love to share with you. Thanks and enjoy.” 

He is regularly spotted sharing images of his children, and throwback photos of his wider family. We’re talking cute shots of him as a child with his father, Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
