Cipriani has opened its doors in Doha

Four generations of culinary traditions have arrived from Venice, Italy.

You could say it’s been 91 years in the making – Doha now has its very own outpost of Cipriani, and it’s taken up residence in the glittering West Bay neighbourhood. Rooted in classic glamour, the iconic restaurant is bringing its traditional Italian and Venetian recipes to Cipriani Doha, thereby carrying on the family motto of “to serve is to love”.

Cipriani Doha

Like its predecessors, the new restaurant’s interiors are accented with Cipriani’s signature nautical colours, Murano glass chandeliers, a blue-and-white terrazzo patterned floor, high-gloss wood, and contemporary black-and-white fashion photography. Cipriani Doha features both an intimate bar and restaurant area with stunning sea views and a menu offering an array of Harry’s Bar classics. Upstairs is a separate lounge called Socialista, a private Cuban-inspired space to provide an upbeat vibe, allowing guests to enjoy cocktails and music – and continue the Cipriani experience late into the night.

Cipriani Doha

Available all year round, Cipriani Doha’s à la carte menu is built on the concept of simple Italian food made to perfection, inspired by the story of Giuseppe Cipriani Sr. The menu spans signature dishes from Harry’s Bar in Venice, including Carpaccio “alla Cipriani”, Calf’s Liver “alla Veneziana” with Fried Polenta, Baked Tagliolini with Ham, Risotto “alla Primavera”, and Vanilla Meringue. And because the menu is anchored in Venetian favourites, produce and premium ingredients have been sourced from Italian farms, adding a sense of authenticity.
