Farm-to-table dining has a new face

Harvest & Co. is EATX’s latest venture in Dubai.

Healthy breakfast, hearty brunches, and artisanal coffee concoctions are practically synonymous with EATX at this point – the homegrown hospitality group is responsible for the likes of Tom & Serg, The Sum of Us, and Common Grounds. Now, a farm-to-table concept named Harvest & Co. is joining the line-up, taking up residence inside Dubai Garden Centre. Described as an idyllic greenhouse restaurant, the leafy new retreat is rooted in seasonal, fresh menus and home-baked goods.

With homely yet contemporary interior design at its heart, the dining room centres around an intimate open kitchen, with all the morning’s harvest displayed on a rustic farm-style kitchen pass. Harvest & Co. serves breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a delicious array of pantry staples – think: jams and chutneys, oils and vinegars, and soft cheeses – that pair perfectly with the freshly baked goods delivered each morning. The humble kitchen rustles up culinary delights, soulful smoothies, boost juices, and Encounter’s signature roasted coffee. Here, breakfast includes a stunning plate of fresh Salmontini smoked salmon, roe, lemon oil, crème fraîche, scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of fine herbs, and warm sourdough bread.

Another must-try? The rustic scrambled eggs with 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano on top of a perfectly baked slice of sourdough toast. With the art of innovative bowls perfected by EATX, the rich chocolate porridge promises to become a fast favourite amongst Dubai’s discerning foodies – its delicious mix of Valrhona Manjari 64% chocolate, black cherries, whipped banana, and vanilla cream makes for an indulgent breakfast or brunch go-to. Elegant and unpretentious, Harvest & Co. is driven by quality, letting each individual ingredient shine in carefully composed dishes. Incidentally, a second location is expected to open in Jumeirah Park in the coming weeks.
