The burger joint has created an alfresco space with bright pint tents, majlis-style floor seating and a central firepit. Here’s what to expect from Salt Camp’s Museum of the Future pop-up.
Salt Camp at Museum of the Future serves the restaurant’s signature burgers, shakes and desserts. The menu includes a limited-edition menu of savoury burgers, plus items including cinnamon rolls topped with cheesecake ice cream, charred corn and cookie sundaes.
Great for Instagram, Salt Camp at Museum of the Future includes plenty of picture-worthy spots. The space hosts live music, DJs, street performers and a parade of camels in pink robes. Plus, with architectural wonder, Museum of the Future, as a backdrop, you will get some super snaps.
Salt Camp is a Dubai-based brand, which started life as a food truck back in 2014. The business was launched by the Emirati entrepreneur Amal Al Marri and Saudi entrepreneur Deem AlBassam. The company are famed for utitlising social media to create a buzz, as fans would have to find its next location online.
Museum of the Future opened in February 2023. If you haven’t been yet, it showcases innovative solutions for the future of cities. Check out the exhibition spaces, which are dedicated to climate change, health and technology.
Salt Camp at Museum of the Future is open on weekdays from noon to midnight, and weekends from noon until 1am. The pop-up runs until 22 March – go, camp out.
