MASTI’s new location is up and running

The contemporary Indian eatery has taken up residence at The Dubai EDITION.

With J1 Beach replacing La Mer, there’s something new and exciting to await, sure — but where does that leave MASTI fans? Headed to The Dubai EDITION. The award-winning Indian eatery has officially debuted in Downtown Dubai. Created by Black Spoon Hospitality Group, this homegrown concept has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2017. It’s also a nominee at the FACT Dining Awards Dubai 2023. MASTI has rightfully gained a reputation as a stellar dining experience that fuses modernity, tradition, colour and flavour.

With chef Prashant Chipkar still at the helm, the menu will continue to pay homage to the imaginative reinterpretation of authentic Indian cuisine designed to take palettes on a culinary tour through ‘New India’. Diners can expect MASTI’s signature dishes on the menu at the new location — Tandoori Chicken Bao, Tuna Bhel Tartare, and Malabar Fish included. There’s also a handful of new offerings like Watermelon Bhakri, Ghee Roast Bone Marrow, and Beef Vindaloo.

Incidentally, an eclectic cocktail menu is still at the heart of the MASTI experience, with talented mixologists showcasing creative blends such as Turmeric Tommy, Jaggery Old Fashioned, and Electric India. As for the interior design of the new outpost at The Dubai EDITION? Unapologetically fun, free and playful, of course.

Masti

“We are beyond proud that Masti was listed in the first Dubai Michelin Guide, and we cannot wait to continue in the same vein at the new location in The Dubai Edition,” said Charbel Mhanna, CEO of Black Spoon Hospitality Group. “We will bring a bold 360-degree experiential offering of food, drinks, hospitality, interiors, and so much more. Dynamism remains at the heart of what we do, with Masti turning gastronomy on its head, boasting a stunning array of traditionally inspired, modern plates, daring cocktails, and an unparalleled vibe.”
