Greek cuisine never feels too fussy or uptight – and therein lies its universal appeal. However, every now and then, an eatery that takes an artful approach to Greek food comes along, elevating it in the process. Case in point? MAZI Abu Dhabi. This outpost of the highly acclaimed restaurant MAZI based in Notting Hill, London features at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.

Chic Greek

Bringing diners together (incidentally, mazi in Greek translates to ‘together’) over a stunning array of authentic dishes, the ‘fine-casual’ restaurant specialises in sumptuous Greek specialties served with an elegant and modern twist. Guests are invited to voyage through the flavours and colours of the Mediterranean either in the rustic-chic dining room or out on the beautiful terrace. Scattered with lush greenery and delicate olive trees, the latter hosts a wood-and-fire grill where guests can watch the experts prepare all manner of grilled delights.

And in keeping with its name, the MAZI Abu Dhabi dishes are specifically designed to be savoured together, complementing the relaxed, sharing-style format of dining. Here, the specialties are inspired by the childhood memories of founders Christina Mouratoglou and Adrien Carré.
