Qiddiya City’s Speed Park Track could also become a stop for the F1 races moving forward.
Saudi Arabia, start your engines. Qiddiya City is set to welcome a new racetrack, Speed Park Track. The Kingdom already welcomes Formula One at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, and now motorsport could be making another stop in the country.
Qiddiya City’s new Speed Park Track aims to become one of the world’s leading motorsport venues. The track combines functionality with state-of-the-art technology and hopes to host the world’s biggest racing events, including future Formula 1 Grand Prix and MotoGP races.
Located by the Tuwaiq Mountains, Speed Park Track has been designed by race drivers for race drivers. Austrian former Formula One driver Alex Wurz and German circuit designer Hermann Tilke are behind the design. The circuit makes the most of Qiddiya City’s landscape and features 21 corners and a 108-metre elevation gain per lap. It will also feature the world’s first cantilevered track section, the 70-metre Blade corner.
Rising 20 storeys above ground level, the track has two distinct sections, including a street circuit section and a fast open track section. Both are fully integrated into the neighbourhood and attractions. Plus, there will be a range of viewing terraces for fans to watch.

Now, construction is also underway on an Exclusive Viewing Lounge at Speed Park, designed to enhance the race-day experience and support the Kingdom’s ambitions to host major Formula 1 and MotoGP events. The four-storey lounge will feature spectator areas, indoor lounges and essential amenities, creating premium spaces for guests during race weekends.
This announcement now allows construction to progress across different parts of the venue, while Qiddiya Investment Company continues to develop hospitality offerings as standalone assets. Speed Park is also designed to host public track days outside the professional racing calendar, giving the venue a wider appeal beyond major race weekends.

Qiddiya City is a 40-minute drive from Riyadh and will be an entertainment hub. Six Flags Qiddiya City is now open, featuring 28 rides including the record-breaking Falcons Flight roller coaster, while Aquarabia opened in April 2026 with 22 rides and experiences across eight themed zones. Coming soon are the world’s first Dragon Ball Theme Park, Mercedes-AMG World of Performance and Qiddiya Performing Arts Centre. Future sporting attractions also include the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, National Tennis Centre, championship golf course and new horse racing venue.
