The Egyptian band will perform at the open-air venue, Thanaya.
If AlUla isn’t already on your travel bucket list, it definitely should be. This region in Saudi Arabia is seeped in history, and now, it’s adding a little rock to the mix — the musical kind. Get ready to welcome Cairokee to AlUla for a one-night-only concert under the stars at Thanaya on Saturday, 8 June.
Set against the backdrop of AlUla’s otherworldly rock formations, the open-air venue promises a concert experience like no other, where thousands of years of history meet the sounds of one of the Arab world’s most influential bands.
Since rising to fame in the early 2000s, Cairokee has built a cult following across the region thanks to their electrifying live shows and powerful, politically charged lyrics. Expect to hear hits like Basrah w Atooh, El Sheka Shemal fe Shemal, Samurai, Ya Abyad Ya Eswed, and Layla—each track delivered with the signature intensity that fans know and love.
Fresh off a standout set at BRED Abu Dhabi, the band is bringing that same energy to AlUla, offering fans a rare chance to experience their music in one of the world’s most unique concert settings.
AlUla is no stranger to unforgettable moments. The ancient city has been turning up the volume with performances from Bruno, Miss Lauryn Hill and Usher. The city is also home to the FACT award-winning Maraya Social. Created by the British chef, Jason Atherton, it is located in the mirrored Maraya building in the heart of AlUla. Sitting on the rooftop, it showcases European cuisine.
Tickets to see Cairokee in AlUla are now on sale, with Gold starting at SAR 350, Premium at SAR 550, and Platinum access at SAR 650.
