The programme spans classical music to Arab pop icons.
AlUla is gearing up for a busy season, with a full calendar of concerts, festivals and immersive experiences running from December into early 2026. From star-powered New Year’s Eve celebrations to the return of the Maraya Concert Series, visitors will find culture, music and heritage waiting at every turn.
Following the conclusion of the Ancient Kingdoms Festival on 6 December, many of AlUla’s most popular experiences will continue into the new year. Hegra After Dark will return, giving guests more time to explore AlUla’s stories after dark and see its landscapes in a new light.
On 19 December, Lebanese star Wael Kfoury will perform at Maraya, setting the tone for a strong concert season. He will be followed by a very special night featuring Arab pop star Elissa on 9 January 2026, also at Maraya. Elissa will be one of the first headline acts in the Maraya Classical Concert Series, performing Arabic pop and romantic favourites in a spectacular mirrored setting. In a first for her career, she will appear with an all-female orchestra led by legendary Maestro Hany Farhat, making this a one-night-only performance to remember.
All eyes then turn to New Year’s Eve. On 31 December, musical icons Assala Nasri and Adam will headline a gala concert at the open-air Thanaya AlUla venue. Set under a canopy of stars, the night will bring together world-class live performance with the sandstone backdrop that has become synonymous with AlUla. It promises to be an atmospheric way to ring in 2026, with music, spectacle and the natural drama of the desert.
Assala Nasri, often referred to as the Queen of Arab Music, is set to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and beloved songs, including “Ya Magnoon,” “Tasawar,” “Bent Akaber”, and “Mabaash Ana.” Sharing the stage is Lebanese star Adam, known for his emotive delivery and rich tone, with tracks such as “Kifak Enta,” “Khalas Eldam,” “Haza Ana”, and “Bhebak Ana.” Tickets for the New Year’s Eve concert will be released soon.
Across concerts, culture, sport and immersive heritage, AlUla’s upcoming season is designed to keep visitors entertained well beyond the festive period.
