The limited-time tandem skydiving experience takes thrill-seekers above AlUla’s desert landscapes.
AlUla is taking adventure to new heights with the launch of AlUla Skydive. Running from 21 to 30 May 2026, the limited-time experience invites visitors to freefall above one of Saudi Arabia’s most spectacular landscapes, reaching speeds of more than 200 kilometres per hour before descending over desert terrain, sandstone formations and the ancient oasis below.
Skydiving is already one of the world’s great adrenaline experiences, but AlUla adds a rare sense of place. From above, the region’s dramatic rock formations, sweeping desert valleys and pockets of green oasis come into view, creating a perspective that few visitors will ever see. It is a chance to experience AlUla not only as a heritage destination, but as an adventure playground shaped by nature, history and scale.

What to expect
AlUla is home to Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is celebrated for its monumental Nabataean tombs carved into desert rock. The wider region is also known for ancient inscriptions, archaeological sites and striking natural landmarks, making the aerial experience feel especially distinctive.
Participants will be securely harnessed to a certified instructor, with a safety briefing, equipment and professional supervision included. After the initial rush of freefall, the controlled descent offers time to take in the views, from AlUla’s sculptural sandstone cliffs to its vast desert plains.
How to book
Open daily from 6am to 5pm, the experience takes place at AlUla International Airport and is available for participants aged 18 to 75. Advance booking is required, with prices starting from SAR 2,099 for a tandem jump with a handheld camera. A second package, priced at SAR 2,590, includes a dedicated cameraman to capture the experience from the air.
