AlUla, the A-list stars just keep on coming. R&B superstar Usher is making his Saudi debut, as he has announced that he is performing at Maraya. Usher is coming to the kingdom on 18 November, and will be bringing his signature soul songs and moves to the Saudi desert.
If you want to catch Usher in AlUla, tickets are available now. Usher hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and is an international megastar. He has notched up eight Grammy Awards, and had four consecutive number one albums on the Billboard Top 200. We are hoping that he plays his hit songs including Yeah!, You Make Me Wanna and Burn, and busts out a few dance moves, too.
The R&B singer will also be in Abu Dhabi, beforehand, as he is part of the star-studded line-up for F1 Yasalam After Race Concerts. Taking place at Etihad Park in Yas Island, he is performing on 17 November. The concerts also include British rapper Dave, rock legends Def Leppard, American rapper Kendrick Lamar and house supergroup Swedish House Mafia.
AlUla is one of the most impressive sights in Saudi Arabia, as it combines history with modernity. This month there’s even more reason to visit, as it debuts the Ancient Kingdoms Festival. Bringing together a dazzling line-up of cultural activities, it runs from 11 to 27 November.
Previous concerts in AlUla include Alicia Keys, Angham, Guy Manoukian, John Legend, OneRepublic, Souad Massi and Westlife. Upcoming concerts include Faia Younan on 18 November, Mai Farouk on 25 November, and Majid Al Mohandis on 23 December.
We got it bad.
