Celebrate local food at Saudi Feast Festival 2022 in Riyadh 

The festival includes chefs, classes and cookbooks.

Warning: you may get hangry after reading this article. If the sound of Saudi classics, from kabsa to dates, get your mouth watering, then hold onto your napkins. Saudi Feast Festival 2022 is taking place in Riyadh and runs from 12 to 29 December.

Saudi Feast Festival 2022 celebrates the country’s rich and diverse food heritage. Bringing together local and international chefs, it’s a rare chance to watch them in action and learn a few skills of your own. Drawing from different regional cuisines in the kingdom, the festival showcases dishes and local ingredients from across the country.  

Saudi Feast Festival 2022 includes different zones offering different experiences. The areas range from a competition zone to workshop zone. Plus, there is a palm and date exhibition for those who want to learn more about the kingdom’s iconic ingredients. 

The business zone highlights current trends, and welcomes specialists from around the world. The children’s zone includes an interactive farm and simple cooking workshops. Children can learn about the food system, taking the ingredients from farm to table. 

The restaurant zone is one of the largest zones at the festival. Plus, if you’re looking for a unique souvenir, head to the zone, as it includes a gift shop with cookbooks and souk with local food produce. 

Saudi Feast Festival 2022 is open from 4pm to midnight, and takes place at King Khalid Road, Hittin. Tickets for the festival are available now. Prices start from SAR 35 for general tickets, and SAR 400 for premium tickets. Children under 12 years old can visit for free.
