Chan in Jeddah opens a vibrant venue with arcades and Asian food
The street food-inspired menu includes soups, shrimp and sliders.
Are you on the hunt for a cool hangout? Well, you’ll be excited to hear that a new Asian street food restaurant has opened, and it’s fast becoming a popular hotspot. Chan in Jeddah serves dishes inspired by China, Japan and beyond, in a fun and funky, Insta-worthy setting.
Chan in Jeddah is located on Ahmad Al Attas Street. Once you step inside the restaurant, you’ll feel like you could be on the bustling streets of Shanghai or Tokyo. The interiors have been designed like a walkway, as the tables sit on a cobbled pavement. Plus, the walls are lined with garage shutters with graffiti and illuminated shoji windows.
The uber-trendy décor is filled with colour, from the red and yellow lanterns to the bright neon lights. While you wait for your food, check out the old-school arcades, which range from Pac-Man to Street Fighter.
Chan in Jeddah’s menu is packed with Asian-inspired food, which is served sizzling to your table. The starters include soups and salads, which range from a chicken corn soup to a tom yum soup, and crispy noodle salad to kani crab salad. Plus, the appetisers include beef bao sliders, dynamite shrimp, Korean BBQ wings, potato chao chao and steamed shrimp dumplings.
The main menu spans beef, chicken and shrimp dishes, which include kung pao, schezwan and Thai curries. Noodles include chicken fried noodles, Korean ramen, shrimp fried noodles, Singaporean fried noodles and vegetable fried noodles.
Chan is open from Monday to Saturday, from 5pm to 1am. Fun awaits.
