Family-friendly KidZania is rolling into Riyadh

This will be KidZania’s second outpost in Saudi Arabia.

From the beloved Riyadh Boulevard to the upcoming King Salman Park, the Saudi capital is bursting with recreational activities. Adding to this ever-evolving landscape is the exciting news that Riyadh will soon be home to its very own KidZania.

For those unversed with KidZania, it’s not just any ordinary amusement park. It’s an interactive city, offering entertainment, and learning through realistic role-play. The physical layout mirrors that of a real city with various establishments ranging from hospitals and police stations to supermarkets and beauty salons. At KidZania every detail is meticulously crafted to create an environment where children can explore, discover and learn at their own pace.

Here, kids can independently navigate through over 1,000 professions — be it firefighting or fashion design. Through experiential learning techniques, children not only acquire practical skills but also gain a deeper understanding of concepts like financial literacy. They experience the responsibilities and challenges of adult life in a safe environment, which fosters creativity and confidence.

With 26 facilities worldwide, KidZania has become a global favourite. From Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall to Dubai’s Dubai Mall and Jeddah’s Mall of Arabia, each KidZania location reflects the unique characteristics of its host city. And while the exact location or date of the opening of KidZania in Riyadh is yet to be disclosed, it’s sure to elevate family fun in the capital.
