The Stella McCartney show will feature old and new pieces.

British fashion designer Stella McCartney is set to unveil her fashion collection at Riyadh Fashion Week 2025. The designer will close the event on 21 October, showcasing both old and new pieces.

Stella McCartney is the daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney and inherited her parents’ passion for animal rights and environmentalism. Her father is a former Beatles singer, and her late mother was a photographer. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, she worked at Chloé. In 2001, she launched her own fashion label.

The Stella McCartney label is famous for its consumer-conscious outlook. The collection is 95 per cent conscious and 100 per cent cruelty-free. She is a trailblazer in sustainable fashion and material innovation and is committed to ethical luxury.

The collection features cutting-edge, eco-conscious materials, including YATAY M – a vegan alternative to ostrich leather crafted from fungi mycelium and recycled elements. The forest-friendly viscose, deadstock fabrics, and recycled mesh are designed to biodegrade safely. Plus, the sustainable textiles include GOTS-certified organic cotton and silk, recycled nylon, polyester and cotton.

It’s not just about the fabrics, but also the decorative touches. The features include cruelty-free ethos, with lead-free crystals, resin-based vegan pearls, and faceted beaded chains – all created without leather, feathers, fur, or skins.

The Stella McCartney label’s inclusion at Riyadh Fashion Week reinforces the city’s role in the fashion world. Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, explained: “Stella McCartney’s participation marks a milestone for Riyadh Fashion Week and for Saudi Arabia’s creative evolution. Her commitment to sustainability and innovation reflects the values we are championing as we build a responsible and forward-looking fashion ecosystem.”
