French Montana is headed to the Diriyah E-Prix

The New York-based rapper will headline the after-race concert on Saturday, 28 January.

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championships – Diriyah E-Prix roars into town on 27 and 28 January, bringing plenty of action on and off the track.

Last week we revealed that EDM artist Martin Garrix and R&B singer Miguel would headline the Diriyah E-Prix after-race concerts in Riyadh next weekend.

We can now add another two names to the list of global talent set to take the stage at the Allianz Fan Village, following the races. Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki and acclaimed rapper French Montana.

Born Karim Kharbouch, Moroccan-American rapper French Montana has released four studio albums and 25 mixtapes in a career spanning little over a decade. The 38-year-old is best known for his 2017 hit singles Unforgettable and Hurtin’ Me. Having collaborated with some of hip-hops biggest talents including Cardi B, Drake, Future, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Nas, Nicki Minaj and Post Malone, French Montana is expected to put on an epic show when he headlines the Diriyah E-Prix after-race concert series on Saturday, 28 January.

Also set to perform is Mohamed Hamaki. The 47-year-old Egyptian received critical acclaim when he won the “Best Arabia Act” award at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards. With a career spanning 14 albums and two decades, Hamaki has also been seen on television as a coach on the fifth season of The Voice Ahla Sawt.

What is the Diriyah E-Prix?

The all-electric street racing championship takes place on a 2.495km circuit on Riyadh’s outskirts, featuring 21 twists and turns as it winds through the streets of Diriyah’s UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Diriyah E-Prix is just one of the sporting events that make up the annual Diriyah Season, which also features the EA Sports Supercup on Wednesday, 18 January, and the recent unveiling of the new dining destination Bujairi Terrace.

Single-day general admission tickets for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championships – Diriyah E-Prix are priced at SAR 100, whilst two-day tickets are available at SAR 170. Grandstand seat upgrades for single-day tickets cost SAR 150 or SAR 225 for two-day tickets, both include access to concerts.
