Colourful Ramen and Anime Festival is heading to Jeddah 

The event runs from 13 to 17 December as part of Jeddah Events.

Do you love ramen and anime? Well, you’re in luck. A Ramen and Anime Festival is coming to Saudi Arabia. Running from 13 to 17 December, it is being held as part of Jeddah Events and takes place in the Asia Minor zone in Ash Shati. 

The Ramen and Anime Festival is a celebration of the Asian cuisine and culture. The family-friendly event includes Asian street food stalls, which offer a variety of cuisines. If you want to take home a unique souvenir, there are workshops where you can create arts and crafts. Plus, there will be a range of live entertainment, from folk dancers to anime shows. 

The Ramen and Anime Festival has been organised with the support of the Culinary Arts Commission. Jeddah Events also recently launched Little Asia, which showcases the continent’s cuisine and culture. Running until 3 March, it opened with a firework display and has a range of events and entertainment. The zones cover China, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Plus, there are restaurants that offer dishes inspired by each country. 

Jeddah Events launched in 2023, and the slogan is “together with each other throughout the year”. The festival brings together international and cultural experiences, and shares the history and heritage of the city. The fun-filled event includes activities for all age groups and visitors.

Ramen and Anime Festival tickets start from SAR 55 for weekdays and SAR 75 for weekends. Children under five years old can attend for free. The festival runs daily from 5pm to midnight.
