The Egyptian pop icon Amr Diab will headline Abadi Gohar Arena in Jeddah on Thursday, 17 September 2026, bringing a career-spanning show that celebrates the soundtrack of the Arab world.
Amr Diab’s legacy is defined by decades of reinvention. On 22 July, Diab released Habeitek, his 12-track studio album through Sony Music Entertainment Middle East. Songs include “Lola El Banat”, “Habeitek”, “Getlak”, “El Alwan”, “Ana Maak”, “Bahawel” and “Salam Kebeer”, fusing sleek synths with Mediterranean rhythms and the unmistakable warmth of his vocal delivery.
In February, Amr Diab became the first Arab artist to pass three billion streams on Anghami. In June, he appeared alongside Mohamed Salah in a Pepsi campaign tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup,:and in August, Guinness World Records recorded Diab as having spent 67 weeks at number one on the Billboard Arabia Artist 100, accumulated across six separate spells at the top.
Recent months have doubled down on scale with arena shows across the region, from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi to Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. He opened the year at Al Manara Arena in Cairo on 16 January, played the American University in Cairo on 1 May, then performed at U Arena in New Alamein on 7 August.
