The renowned French restaurant has made its debut in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is upping the ante and bringing some of the biggest and most celebrated restaurants to the Kingdom. While Riyadh has already welcomed names like Carbone and Gymkhana, Jeddah is not far behind. The city boasts tons of exquisite dining spots, including Cafe Laperouse, MANKO and ROKA. Now, the celebrated French restaurant Mimosa is coming to the Red Sea city.

Making its way from Paris to Jeddah, Mimosa has now opened at the city’s Cascade by Jeddah Walk. The restaurant promises to bring the flavours of the French Riviera to the city, and Chef Jean-Francois Piege is the mastermind behind this menu.

Step inside and you’ll be instantly enveloped in the restaurant’s lively atmosphere. Wooden furnishings with a mix of teal, pink and beige set the mood for an elevated yet relaxed experience. The space is perfect for a fun lunch, with the light seeping through the glass windows and for an intimate dinner.

You can look forward to an array of delectable dishes such as Semolina Gnocchi with Parmesan, Gratinated Tagliolini, Red Tuna Steak, Kimchi Kissed Tuna, Fried Shrimp Balls, Greek Gallete, Gnocchi Pesto, Sea bream and much more.

Mimosa first debuted in Paris in 2021. Since then, it’s been wowing diners with its celebration of the Mediterranean. Following its success in Paris, the restaurant expanded to St. Tropez and made its London debut at The Langham in 2024.

Mimosa falls under the Moma Group, which also operates Cafe Laperouse and Manko in Jeddah, both located at Cascade by Jeddah Walk. The restaurant finds its home next to the Noto — another soon-to-open eatery. In fact, all four restaurants line up on the second floor of this plaza, making it a foodie haven.
