MDLBEAST returns to Jeddah with two huge nights at Onyx Arena.
Saudi Arabia’s nightlife calendar is turning up the volume. MDLBEAST Presents will return to Onyx Arena in Jeddah on 29 and 30 October 2026, assembling 11 international and regional artists for two nights of house, techno, melodic and underground sounds. The shows mark MDLBEAST’s return to the venue following its debut there in 2024, while also setting the stage for Soundstorm in Riyadh this December.
The two nights at MDLBEAST Presents in Jeddah have been given distinct musical identities. On 29 October, BLOND:ISH, Boris Brejcha and Jimi Jules will perform alongside regional favourites Baloo and Vinyl Mode. The following evening shifts gears with Argy, Dennis Cruz, Loco Dice and Steve Angello, joined by Blacky and HiFi.
BLOND:ISH
BLOND:ISH has developed into one of electronic music’s most recognisable names, with Canadian DJ and producer Vivie-ann Bakos taking the project forward as a solo act. Her genre-crossing approach has taken her from underground dancefloors to major international stages, while her music increasingly mixes house with global influences and accessible vocals. Tracks such as “Sete” with Francis Mercier and Amadou & Mariam helped expand her audience, while “Never Walk Alone” and her remix of Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight” pushed her further into the mainstream. Recent releases include “Natural Blues” with Moby and “Lovers On The Dancefloor”.
Boris Brejcha
Few DJs have built a visual identity quite like Boris Brejcha. The German producer is instantly recognisable for performing in his signature Joker mask, but the music behind the image has made him a global electronic heavyweight. Brejcha coined the term “high-tech minimal” to describe his distinctive sound, while high-profile performances for Cercle and Tomorrowland significantly expanded his international following. His catalogue includes “Gravity” featuring Laura Korinth, “Purple Noise”, “Up Down Jumper”, “Space Diver” and “House Music”. His sets are also unusual in that they consist solely of his own productions.
Jimi Jules
Zurich-based Jimi Jules is a DJ, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. He studied music at the Zurich University of the Arts before establishing himself across Europe’s house and techno circuit. His breakthrough came with “Pushing On”, his collaboration with Oliver $, which became a major club track. Jules subsequently became closely associated with Dixon and Âme’s Innervisions label, releasing projects including Karma Baby and the album +. Other tracks worth adding to the playlist include “My City’s On Fire”, “Fool”, “Trippy Yeah” and 2026 release “Whisper to Me”
Argy
Greek producer Argy has spent years moving through the European underground, but his more recent work with Afterlife transformed him into a major name on the global melodic techno circuit. His post-pandemic resurgence began with “Ketuvim”, followed by “Tataki”, which became a defining release in his evolving sound. The momentum continued with New World and tracks including “Aria” with Omnya, “Higher Power” with Anyma and MAGNUS, “Pantheon” with Goom Gum and “Sierra” with Baset. “Aria” and “Sierra” have both achieved Gold certification, while 2026 album NEWORLD II pushes his cinematic electronic aesthetic further.
Dennis Cruz
Madrid-born Dennis Cruz has become a familiar fixture in the international tech-house scene, building his career through club-focused productions and appearances across the global festival circuit. Having started DJing at 17 before studying sound engineering, Cruz developed a style influenced by house, funk, Latin rhythms and underground grooves. His releases have appeared on labels including Solid Grooves, Moon Harbour and Crosstown Rebels, while his GOLFOS project with PAWSA has further increased his profile. His best-known productions include “El Sueño”, “Bad Behaviour”, “What U Doing” featuring Leo Wood, “Bonito” and “No Sleep”, alongside 2026 releases “Bubbling” and “WTFA”.
Loco Dice
Loco Dice’s journey to electronic music began far away from the house and techno circuit. Born Yassine Ben Achour and raised in Düsseldorf, he started as a hip-hop DJ and rapper, supporting artists including Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Usher before shifting towards electronic music in the early 2000s. Residencies at Ibiza institutions helped establish his reputation, while his Desolat label became an influential platform for underground sounds. Key releases include “Phat Dope Shit”, “Roots” and “Love Letters”, while recent collaborations have included “Heavy Heart” with Skrillex and Fireboy DML and “Road Runner” with Carl Cox.
Steve Angello
Steve Angello needs little introduction for fans of festival-sized house music. The Swedish DJ and producer rose to global fame as a founding member of Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, helping to turn electronic dance music into a stadium-scale phenomenon. Away from the trio, Angello built an extensive solo career and founded Size Records, becoming a significant figure in progressive and electro house. His solo catalogue includes “Payback” with Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, “SLVR” with Matisse & Sadko and his version of “Show Me Love” with Laidback Luke featuring Robin S. He also collaborated on the enduring house anthem “Leave The World Behind”.
The supporting line-up adds a strong regional element to proceedings. Saudi DJ Baloo and Vinyl Mode join the first night, while Blacky and HiFi complete the bill on 30 October. Together, the two shows offer a snapshot of MDLBEAST’s increasingly broad electronic programming, moving from melodic productions and big-room house to deeper underground sounds.
The Jeddah shows also serve as a warm-up for MDLBEAST’s flagship Soundstorm Festival, which returns to Riyadh on 3 and 4 December 2026.
