9 stunning hotels coming to Saudi Arabia’s mountainous Trojena

If you thought it never snowed in Saudi Arabia, think again. 

Situated in the heart of Neom, Trojena is 50 kilometres from the Gulf of Aqaba and 2,600 metres high. Once complete, the mountain destination will be home to the Gulf’s first outdoor ski resort and offer year-round adventure sports. 

Trojena will be a destination that blends natural and developed landscapes and will host the Asian Winter Games 2029Trojena boasts slope residences overlooking a lake, a ski village, and ‘The Vault’, a folded village fusing technology, entertainment and hospitality. Trojena is expected to be completed by 2026, and with several hotels already on board, here are the seven we already know about.

25hours Trojena

Ennismore Hotels will make its mark in Neom with 25hours Trojena. Known for its trendy restaurants, bars, and spa, 25hours has already won over the hearts of the FACT team in Dubai. As for the upcoming 25hours in Trojena, details reveal a plethora of enticing amenities, including an in-house cinema, farm-to-table restaurant, bike workshop, co-working space, and a rooftop restaurant with a pool.

Neom Trojena

Anantara Trojena

Anantara Trojena boasts 270 keys, spanning rooms and suites. Guests can pick from rooms with private pools and lake or mountain views. The dining options include two speciality restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant with a show kitchen, a café, a high tea lounge and a rooftop majlis café. Anantara Trojena will be home to the brand’s signature Anantara Spa. The facilities include separate male and female wet areas, hammams, a fitness centre and an infinity pool. Head to the star gazing deck, outdoor cinema, kids and teens clubs, or sports and activity pavilion. The activities will cover camel and horse riding, guided walks and on-trend padel tennis. Plus, if you want to arrive in style, there is also an on-site helipad.

Anantara Trojena

Collective Trojena

Imagine this: soaring snow-capped mountains, which boast skiing and snowboarding. Well, that fantasy is coming closer to home, as you can swap the likes of Switzerland for Saudi Arabia, thanks to the new Neom hotel, Collective Trojena. Scheduled to open in 2026, Collective Trojena is a luxurious outdoor hospitality experience. The retreat will include 60 open-air rooms, communal campfires, and creative culinary experiences. Guests will also be able to enjoy year-round outdoor activities, ranging from skiing to snowboarding. Plus, sports activities include hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and water sports, and cultural activities include art, film and music.

JW Marriott Hotel Trojena

JW Marriott Hotel in Trojena will be located in The Bow, an aquatic world that seamlessly blends nature and technology to create a distinctive living environment. Nestled within the embrace of a pristine lake and surrounded by a majestic mountain backdrop, the hotel’s substructure will be engineered to withstand the aquatic environment’s weight and pressure. The hotel’s grand vision includes 500 opulent rooms and suites, as well as an array of entertainment and recreational amenities. Among these offerings are a spacious ballroom, versatile meeting spaces, five dining venues, a fitness centre, a dedicated kids club, swimming pools, and a luxurious spa.

Raffles Trojena

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is famous around the world, from its first opening in Singapore to its recent opening in London. Now, it has announced that it is coming to Saudi Arabia. Raffles Trojena will sit on the spectacular mountainside and will located in the Discover cluster. The structure will boast a ring-shaped design, which allows guests to marvel at the untouched natural beauty. Raffles Trojena will be home to 105 rooms, rooftop gardens, the brand’s signature butler service and a range of restaurants.

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Neom

Neom is home to world-class creations as well as brands. Now, Marriott International has announced that it will open The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Neom in Trojena. The resort will include 60 one-to-four-bedroom villas, a state-of-the-art spa, swimming pools and multiple restaurants. Plus, it will offer breathtaking views across the desert and mountains. Upon completion, Trojena will be a year-round destination for adventure and sports. It will offer hiking, skiing, mountain biking and water sports.

Ritz-carlton neom

W Hotel Trojena

The forthcoming W Hotel in Trojena is set to feature 236 guestrooms, including 47 luxurious suites, all boasting uninterrupted vistas of the surrounding mountains and Trojena’s freshwater lake. The hotel’s design encompasses signature brand spaces such as a Living Room, a WET Deck, a W Lounge, an AWAY Spa, and a FIT fitness centre. Additionally, the property is poised to offer four distinct dining venues and retail spaces.
