Neom’s The Line exhibition opens in Jeddah

The exhibition goes on tour to the Eastern Province and Riyadh.

If you can’t wait to visit Saudi Arabia’s gigaproject Neom, there is a new exhibition bringing it to glorious life. The Line exhibition is opening to the public in Jeddah today, and showcases detailed designs, covering the structure’s architecture and engineering.

The Line exhibition lets the public discover more about Saudi Arabia’s exciting new city, Neom. The show is being held at Jeddah Superdrome and runs from 1 to 14 August in Jeddah. The exhibition then tours the kingdom, as it moves to the Eastern Province and Riyadh.

The Line exhibition is free for the public to visit and is open from 10am to 11pm, and there are 50 guided one-hour tours each day in Arabic and English. Be warned: booking in advance is required.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Neom Board of Directors, recently announced the designs of Neom’s The Line. Neom sounds like something out of a sci-fi film, as there’ll be everything from flying taxis to a fake moon.

The Line aims to redefine urban living. The Line is a 170km-long residential complex with zero cars, zero roads and zero carbon emissions. When completed, the area will be home to million residents across 34 square kilometres.

The Line aims to address problems related to urban design, and aims to prioritise health and wellbeing. The Line will be so compact that you’ll be within a five-minute walk from facilities and a 20-minute high-speed rail will take you through the city. As the area will be 10 degrees Celsius colder than the rest of the GCC, it will be possible to walk all-year round.

Sounds cool to us.
