Check out this year’s theme – “Pride in Our Nature”.

Saudi Arabia’s National Day is celebrated annually on 23 September. This year marks the 95th National Day, and it looks set to be an exciting event. Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, has announced the theme – “Pride in Our Nature”.

This year’s theme builds upon last year’s theme of “We dream and we achieve”, tying in with Saudi Vision 2030 and highlighting the Kingdom’s ambitious goals. The official logo weaves together generosity, authenticity and momentum. Its palette and patterns are informed by traditional textiles, reimagined as crisp geometric forms. The typographic lockup of “Pride in Our Nature” uses bold, block-built letterforms to convey heritage, coherence and national pride. Usage is tightly protected: the mark must not be altered, redrawn or manipulated.

Saudi National Day 2025 identity

This year’s visual identity spotlights what makes Saudi Arabia distinctly its own. It honours heritage while pushing forward with a confident, contemporary outlook.

At its core are six commissioned illustrations, each embodying a national value translated into vivid cultural symbols. Hospitality is expressed through the dallah and finjan, a nod to the nation’s enduring welcome. Strength and ambition appear as the Tuwaiq Mountains. Elsewhere, Faz’ah (the spirit of solidarity and coming to one another’s aid) is captured with crossed hands, a gesture associated with the Crown Prince.

What is Saudi National Day?

Saudi National Day is a significant day that marks the birth of modern-day Saudi Arabia. In 1932, the Kingdom of Najd and Hijaz were unified. Today, the event is an opportunity for Saudi Arabia to celebrate its achievements since the founding of this Kingdom and look to future accomplishments.

Each year, festivities take place across the country, featuring special events such as parades, concerts, and fireworks. No modern-day Saudi National Day celebration is complete without songs. The four songs to celebrate the occasion are Above the Clouds, My Home Is Here, Our Date 2030 and Yes.

Happy Saudi National Day.
