The restaurant is now open at the Diplomatic Quarter.

If there’s one thing Riyadh isn’t short of, it’s restaurants. From international names to trendy cafes, the capital’s dining scene has exploded over the past few years. However, one thing that remains in demand is a fine dining experience that is authentically Saudi at its core. And that’s where NOMAS steps in.

Located at Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, NOMAS has been attracting diners ever since it opened last week. The restaurant seats 35, but promises a great meal with signature Saudi hospitality and live oud performances that are not to be missed.

Step inside NOMAS and you’ll be wrapped in an atmosphere that feels authentically Saudi yet modern. The interiors strike a balance between rustic heritage and modern sophistication. Expect warm browns with subtle green accents, tiled floors in beige and olive tones, and a play of light and shadow. Each table lamp, hand-stitched by women artisans in Jeddah, adds a rooted touch, while cutlery and plates tell stories of the Kingdom’s many regions.

But the main star of the show at NOMAS is its food. The menu will take you on a culinary journey across Saudi Arabia. Expect to indulge in dishes such as Hail Kebiba, Qursan layered with vegetables, Ocean Sayaadih, Hashi Steak, Najdi Lamb Shoulder, and much more.

The tea service at NOMAS is another ritual with a variety of options to choose from, served with Saudi traditions in mind.

NOMAS is backed by Chef Ahad Alghamdi, whose love for cooking began at the age of 19. At NOMAS, with an all-female leadership team, she promises to serve authentic Saudi cuisine in a refined setting.

So if you’re looking to enjoy some delicious Saudi food in a setting that’s rooted in the spirit of the nation, yet modern. NOMAS is where you ought to be.
