Habitas is planning a $400 million, six-hotel circuit for Saudi Arabia

This has got to be on every Instagrammer’s radar.

If you’re a frequent traveller, you probably already know about Habitas. The upmarket hotel brand specialising in luxurious stays in unique destinations has snagged a whopping $400 million from the Saudi Tourism Development Fund. Habitas has big regional plans and will create a “hotel circuit” in Saudi Arabia, where guests can hop from one amazing location to another, exploring the best that the Kingdom has to offer.

The Saudi Tourism Development Fund is on a mission to turbocharge tourism and boost its share of Saudi Arabia’s economy from three per cent to 10 per cent by 2030. And who better to kickstart this tourism bonanza with than Habitas? With their snazzy glamping-like accommodations perfectly suited for epic landscapes, they’re the ideal partners for this adventure.

And Habitas isn’t messing around – it has big plans to add up to six new properties across Saudi Arabia. It already has two fabulous locations nestled in the cultural tourism hotspot of AlUla. The founder, Oliver Ripley, spilled the beans and hinted that they’re now eyeing spots near the Red Sea, Jeddah and Riyadh for their upcoming ventures. Picture yourself leisurely travelling from the stunning Red Sea coast to the bustling cities of Jeddah and Riyadh, all while enjoying the utmost luxury and comfort. Can you imagine the Instagram-worthy moments that await?

Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector is on fire with a whopping 42,033 hotel rooms under construction. That’s a lot of beds and a whole lot of region to explore. And the exciting partnership between Habitas and the TDF comes at a time when the Kingdom is ready to take things up a notch.
