Here’s what to expect from the luxury resort opening later this year.
If it’s good enough for Beyoncé, it’s good enough for us. The luxury hospitality brand, Faena, is an A-list favourite and has set its sights on Saudi Arabia. Faena Red Sea Resort will be located on Shura Island in the Red Sea and is bringing its signature experiential hospitality to the kingdom.
Faena Red Sea Resort is scheduled to open in 2026 and is focused on creating a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience that combines the best of wellness, entertainment, art, and dining.
Faena Red Sea Resort will include 150 suites and villas, each with its own private pool and ocean views. The venue will include six restaurants, a holistic healing house, South American-inspired spa, an 18-hole golf course, a marina and yacht club, the nightlife venue The Living Room, art exhibitions and upmarket retail.

Faena was founded in 2000 by Len Blavatnik and Alan Faena. The hospitality brand has hotels across the world, most notably Faena Buenos Aires and Faena District Miami Beach. Faena Red Sea Resort will be its first development in Saudi Arabia.
Over the years, the brand has garnered A-list fans including Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Director Baz Lurhman once said: “Alan Faena does in reality what I try to do in movies and theatre, that’s why we connect. Faena Miami is like a movie but it is real.”

If Faena’s previous ventures are anything to go by, the new resort will feel like a cross between a high-end festival and a world-class hotel. Faena is famous for its beautifully designed hotels, created by world-famous architects including Thomas Heatherwick and Norman Foster. The company are returning to Norman, as Fosters+Partners have been selected for the latest development.
Faena Red Sea brings the brand’s signature theatrical glamour to Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving Red Sea destination. Expect a hotel with plenty of personality, where immersive experiences matter just as much as the views, and where luxury is delivered with a distinctly expressive edge
Faena, we cannot wait.
