Grand Hyatt The Red Sea has opened on Shura Island with 430 rooms, suites and villas.
Nine dining venues include Charcoal Tandoor Grill, The Amalfi Club and 2AM Dessert Bar by Janice Wong.
Leisure facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, Ethereal Spa, Camp Hyatt and dedicated spaces for teenagers.

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coastline has another major hotel opening to add to its growing collection. Red Sea Global has announced the opening of Grand Hyatt The Red Sea on Shura Island, bringing 430 rooms, suites and villas to the destination, alongside restaurants, family facilities and a substantial offering for events.
Shura Island sits at the heart of The Red Sea destination, with beaches, dining and leisure attractions to explore beyond the resort. Grand Hyatt The Red Sea takes its design cues from the island’s coral formations, connecting the property to the natural surroundings that draw travellers to this stretch of Saudi Arabia’s western coast.
Dining is a major part of the line-up, with nine venues spanning several cuisines. Charcoal Tandoor Grill centres on Indian cooking, while The Amalfi Club brings a taste of coastal Italy to the beachfront. Café Maude covers French bistro favourites, pastries and bakery treats. For something sweet, 2AM Dessert Bar by Janice Wong serves cakes and plated desserts, adding the pastry chef’s creativity to the resort’s culinary offering.
Between meals, guests can divide their time between indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the beach and a fitness centre. Ethereal Spa has 10 treatment rooms for those seeking a slower pace. Younger visitors have Camp Hyatt, while teenagers get dedicated spaces of their own.
The resort’s scale also extends to business trips and celebrations. More than 2,400 square metres of dedicated function space includes a 1,390-square-metre grand ballroom, a 683-square-metre junior ballroom and conference rooms. Outdoor venues add further possibilities for weddings, exhibitions and corporate gatherings.
