The event showcases emerging and established designers.
Riyadh Fashion Week is strutting into the capital of Saudi Arabia. Running from 15 to 20 October, it is now in its third edition. The event showcases emerging and established designers from around the world and puts the Kingdom’s fashion scene in the spotlight.
Hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission, Riyadh Fashion Week brings together style, innovation and creativity. Not long ago, the idea of a fashion week in the Kingdom would have been unthinkable. Today, the event is a powerful platform that unites diverse, forward-thinking creatives. The full programme for this year’s Riyadh Fashion Week has not yet been confirmed, but you can expect collections ranging from ready-to-wear to haute couture, and menswear, womenswear and streetwear.
Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, explained: “Riyadh Fashion Week stands as a landmark event in Saudi Arabia’s cultural and economic evolution. It serves as a premier stage for the exceptional talent and creativity of our designers, bridging local and international fashion communities.
“This event catalyses economic growth, fosters innovation, and celebrates our rich cultural heritage. By uniting industry professionals from around the world, the event aims to inspire future generations and establish Saudi Arabia as a dynamic force in the global fashion landscape.”
Just like the fashion weeks in Dubai, Paris, London and Milan, Riyadh Fashion Week will roll out the red carpet for some A-list celebrities. In previous events in Riyadh, celebrity guests included Blake Lively, Naomi Campbell and Zendaya.
