Riyadh Imagination Park opens with magical movie experiences

Squid Games and Stranger Things fans will love the immersive experiences.

If you love a good Netflix binge, then you’re in for a treat. Riyadh Imagination Park has opened an immersive experience inspired by the hit TV shows Money Heist, Squid Games and Stranger Things. The entertainment park will bring the shows to life in a one-of-a-kind experience. Running from 10 to 22 January, it has been created in partnership with Riyadh Season. 

Riyadh Imagination Park is located in Diriyah. Guests will feel like they’re on a movie set, the only difference is that they’re the star of the show. Visitors can pick their challenges, from battling zombies to carrying out robberies.

If the Squid Games experience at Riyadh Season is anything to go by, we’re expecting orange jumpsuits and escape game-like puzzles. Plus, if the characters Dustin, Lucas, Mike and Will mean anything to you, then you’ll be thrilled to hear about the all-new Stranger Things experience. Set in the 1980s, we’re anticipating a kitsch setting and movie references galore.

It’s not just about state-of-the-art studio experiences, as there will be an exhibition on the popular TV shows. The event encompasses food trucks and a food plaza, which serves international cuisine. Plus, Riyadh Car Show presents supercars from the past and present. 

Riyadh Season has 15 dedicated zones, and the festival runs until 23 January. Riyadh Imagination Park is just one of the zones. Riyadh Season launched in October 2023 with a traditional fireworks display, Cirque du Soleil and a concert from Anne-Marie. 

Tickets to Riyadh Imagination Park start from SAR 25. The experience is open from 4pm to 1am on weekdays, and 4pm to 2am on weekends. We’re game. Are you?
