Rapper Busta Rhymes will open Riyadh Season

Riyadh, it’s time to turn up the volume. The American rapper, Busta Rhymes, will be headlining Riyadh Season. The concert takes place on 12 October at the Kingdom Arena, and here’s what to expect.
Busta, real name Trevor George Smith Jr, hails from New York, United States. In 1986, he formed the group Leaders of the New School and went onto appear as a guest rapper on songs. In 1996, he released his debut solo album, The Coming.
Over his career, he has released ten solo albums. He has collaborated with Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne. He is known for his fast-rapping style and his hits include Gimme Some More, I Know What You Want and Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.
Busta is no stranger to the region. He has performed in Dubai, Jeddah and Riyadh. He has performed at BLU Dubai in Al Habtoor City, The FIFA Club World Cup opening ceremony and MDLBeast Soundstorm 2023.
Riyadh Season has become a defining celebration in Saudi Arabia. With multiple entertainment, cultural, and sporting events — not to forget all new experiences and attractions — it has become a must-visit festival in the cultural calendar.
Riyadh Season 2024 includes blockbuster events. On 17 October, the 6 Kings Slam brings together tennis superstars. On 18 October, the American comedian Martin Lawrence takes to the stage. On 29 November, Warner Bros opens a Harry Potter experience. On 21 December, there is a boxing match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
