Ritual in Riyadh: Afro House music festival is coming to the capital 

The line-up includes Liva K, Kris Nami and Igniter. 

Riyadh, get ready to party. Ritual music festival is coming to the capital, and showcases Afro House. The event takes place on 1 September at Mountain View Resort in northwest Riyadh, and here’s what you need to know. 

The Ritual in Riyadh line-up includes Liva K, Igniter, Kris Nami, Sam, and Talak JK. The headliner, Liva K, is famous for his afro house beats. Hailing from, Greece, his real name is Konstantinos Livathinos. His hit songs include Is That All There Is, Hold You, Rosa and Void. 

Igniter, real name Muhannad Alammar, is an exam coordinator by day and DJ by night. He is from Saudi Arabia, and bringing his passion for music to the masses. DJ Kris Nami is from Kazan, Russia and her hit songs include Azellus, Impulse and Magic Moments. 

If you’re a fan of live music, there are lots of great concerts in Saudi Arabia. The British festival Animal Crossing is making its debut in the city on 8 September. Created in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Avantgarde, it includes Bowes, B2B R.O.Y, Dana Ruh and more. Groove on the Grass is coming to Jeddah and Riyadh, and will bring together local and international acts. Plus, tickets are available this week for the mega music festival, MDLBeast Soundstorm.
