Saudi superstar Mishaal Tamer is set to wow crowds in Riyadh

This Saudi sensation will perform at The Warehouse on 27 January.

Among the many rising stars making waves in the Kingdom’s burgeoning music scene is Mishaal Tamer, who’s all set to wow crowds in Riyadh at The Warehouse on Saturday, 27 January.

Hailing from Jeddah and born to a Saudi father and an Ecuadorian mother, Mishaal Tamer’s journey into the world of music began at the tender age of nine, following a traumatic accident that left him with a broken arm and 32 stitches. Fate intervened when a German doctor prescribed playing the guitar as a form of rehabilitation. This moment was the catalyst that set him on a path of self-discovery and artistic expression.

Mishaal Tamer’s journey took an unexpected turn when he became the first Saudi student at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in New York. Using his Xbox and guitar, he started anonymously uploading clips onto the internet, some of which went viral overnight. This digital success caught the attention of major record labels, who eventually signed with him. Brands like Bulgari recognised his talent, featuring him in various campaigns.

Mishaal Tamer emphasises the significance of sharing Saudi culture through his music. With hit songs like Mirage,” “Painful Paradise,” “Scars,” “Superman,” and “When We Were 16,” his lyrical prowess and emotive melodies have struck a chord with fans worldwide. He’s also graced the MDLBeast stage in 2021 and will open for OneRepublic in Dubai this week.

Tickets to see Mishaal Tamer in Riyadh are available on The Warehouse website and are priced at SAR 120.
