Make your way to Diplomatic Quarter for a foodie fun day out.

‘Tis the season to be… in Riyadh. That’s right. With several events happening in the Saudi capital, it ought to be your go-to spot for all things fun. And now, we’ve got something that will take your taste buds on an adventure around the world.

From 8 to 12 November, Riyadh is set to become a melting pot of flavours as the Culinary Arts Commission presents the Food Culture Festival. This festival is all about celebrating diverse food cultures, enhancing awareness, enabling cultural exchange, and creating enlightening culinary experiences.

Taking place at Grassy Park in the Diplomatic Quarter, the Food Culture Festival will be divided into four exciting areas, each offering a unique experience. The Exhibitors Area will feature a bustling market where the world’s best street foods will be at your fingertips. With 30 booths featuring restaurants from various countries and ten stores selling international food products, you can savour dishes from around the globe.

Moving on, the Workshops Area is a budding chef’s playground. With over 25 workshops conducted over five days, you can learn everything from baking to handicrafts, and even watch live cooking shows. Discover the secrets behind meal presentation, cake decoration, and the art of creating beverages. Who knows, you might pick up a new skill or two to impress your friends at your next dinner party.

The Theater Area will host various performances and musical shows celebrating different cultures. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of diverse nations through song, dance, and historical arts. And lastly, the Children’s Area is packed with interactive and entertaining activities designed for the young ones. From colouring workshops to cake decoration contests, kids can explore food culture and heritage in a fun and educational way.

The Food Culture Festival has something for everyone, whether you’re a foodie, a budding chef, or a family looking for a fun day out. So clear your schedule and get ready for a culinary adventure like no other.
