Cristiano Ronaldo-backed Tatel Riyadh is coming to Bujairi Terrace

The fine-dining Spanish restaurant serves pasta, fish and meat dishes.

One of Riyadh’s most famous residents, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been spotted around the capital’s hotels, sights and stadiums. Now, the legendary footballer player has visited Bujairi Terrace to announce the opening of his very own restaurant: Tatel Riyadh.

On Instagram, Ronaldo shared a picture of himself in Bujairi Terrace. The post stated: “Indulging in history and gastronomy at @tatel.riyadh in @bujairiterrace with a stunning view of #at_turaif @visitdiriyah”. Plus, on Instagram, Tatel Riyadh shared a video of Ronaldo in Bujairi Terrace, and in front of the building as well as the brand logo.

Tatel is known for serving Spanish haute cuisine. The concept draws its inspiration from America’s prohibition era in the 1920s. Ronaldo is not the only sports star backing the concept, as tennis player Rafael Nadal also invests in the restaurant.

Tatel Riyadh’s menu covers starters, salads, rice, pasta, fish, meat and chicken dishes. The starters include Crispy Eggplant, Grilled Octopus, and Seabass Ceviche. The mains include Chicken and Mushroom Cannelloni and Rice, Slow Cooked Beef Ribs, and Spicy Chicken Terrine. The desserts include the signature Tate World Famous Cheesecake, which is one of the best we’ve ever had. The cheesecake combines a fluffy texture and gooey filling – we’d rock up just for this dessert.

Since Ronaldo signed with the country’s football team, Al Nassr, he has moved with his family to Riyadh. Plus, he has been seen around town with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, his five children and even his mum.

Bujairi Terrace is located on the outskirts of Riyadh, and is home to premium restaurants encompassing world-class global brands and local Saudi-owned concepts. Known for its traditional mud-brick architecture, the newly opened site overlooks the iconic At-Turaif. The area features a pedestrianised maze of winding alleyways home to 20 restaurants.

Who knows, you might run into Ronaldo.
