Flamingo Room by tashas opens in Riyadh in September

The restaurant brings three distinct concepts under one roof.

Natasha Sideris is the quintessential restaurateur, quietly elevating the casual face of Dubai’s dining scene with the launch of every concept within her hospitality company, Tashas Group. Now, the South African group is getting ready to expand into Saudi Arabia, debuting a brand new concept in the process: Flamingo Collection.

Flamingo Room by tashas

Encompassing Flamingo Room by tashas, retail concept store Collective Africa, and the alluring African Lounge (which will make its debut later this year), the immersive new experience will see three unique concepts come together under one roof, and one name, for the first time. Flamingo Collection will open its doors in Riyadh on 7 September. A fourth experience, The Stargaze Garden, is a rooftop dining space and an extension of the African Lounge. We’re told that it will be available for private events. The venue will sit in the upmarket dining enclave at Bujairi Terrace, set within the historic neighbourhood of Diriyah, Saudi Arabia’s foremost historical and cultural city.

Flamingo Room by tashas

Flamingo Room by tashas personifies African glamour, offering a distinctive dining experience from lunch through to cocktail hour and dinner. African Lounge, meanwhile, draws inspiration from the continent’s luxury tented safaris and offers elegant afro-fusion bites, exquisite pastries, and sweets as well as a lavish afternoon tea spread and sophisticated mocktails. At Collective Africa, the group’s Africa-inspired luxury retail store, guests can browse a strongly curated range of designer clothing, home and tableware, and objets d’art. As for Stargaze Garden? Come September, its rooftop setting will offer views over the Wadi Hanifah riverbed, translating into tranquil moments under the stars.
