GymNation will open its first branches in Saudi Arabia
The homegrown brand is bringing six gyms to the Kingdom.
GymNation, the homegrown GCC fitness brand, will open its first branches in Saudi Arabia. In August, the brand will bring six gyms to locations across the Kingdom. So, if you’re wondering where to work up sweat, here’s what you need to know.
In 2017, GymNation launched with the aim to improve people’s health and wellbeing. It has 12 locations in the UAE and 70,000 members. Plus, it aims to expand across the GCC in Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
GymNation’s Saudi Arabian launch aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve society’s health as well as its economic prospects. The plan is to make the gym more affordable and more accessible. Plus, the Saudi Sports for All Federation recently launched its 2024 summer campaign, Move Your World, which aims to get the nation into physical activities.
Loren Holland, Founder and CEO of GymNation, explained: “At GymNation, we want to provide a far better gym experience at a much more affordable price point than is currently available from the existing operators. We are an inclusive brand that provides a welcoming environment for everyone regardless of ability, shape or size.
“Our pipeline of new locations across Saudi Arabia is incredibly strong and with the support of our investment partners Tricap Investments and Ruya Partners, we are looking forward to an exciting period of growth and having a similar positive and disruptive impact on the Saudi Arabia fitness scene by breaking down affordability and accessibility barriers, like we did in the UAE.”
