Riyadh will soon host an outpost of Sexy Fish

The Mayfair export will arrive in Saudi Arabia in 2023.

Between its resident DJs, opulent interiors, artworks by the likes of Damien Hirst and Frank Gehry, and a diverse menu inspired by the seas of Asia, Sexy Fish has won rave reviews since its debut in 2015. The trendy restaurant and bar currently runs two restaurants – one in London and another in Miami – and is gearing up for its third venue in the Saudi capital.

As part of a joint venture with Cool Inc, combining the local entrepreneurial spirit with an affluent global skillset to provide consumer-centric experiences, Sexy Fish will make its grand foray into the Middle Eastern market in 2023. The celebrity hotspot is expected to reside in the upscale Via Riyadh neighbourhood and echo the hedonistic surrounds of the London and Miami outposts, where Chef Director Bjoern Weissgerber serves a diverse menu of sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish, and meat cooked on a robata grill inspired by the seas of Asia, with a focus on Japan.

Sexy Fish Riyadh will be the perfect mix of decadent food, innovative beverages, and brilliant entertainment from lunch through dinner and beyond, with the menu complemented by the restaurant’s resident DJs to take guests through the later hours.

The Riyadh outpost will retain the signature dishes of the original Sexy Fish, such as duck salad, vegetarian sushi, smoked tuna belly, crispy eringi mushroom, black cod, and king crab, with the addition of new dishes and seasonally inspired flavours overseen by Weissgerber. The new venue will include counter seating at the cherry-red lava stone bar as well as an outdoor dining area accented with greenery.
