Say cheese — and join a masterclass at Café Boulud.

Riyadh’s dining scene offers plenty to explore. But when it comes to refined French food in a luxurious setting, Café Boulud keeps raising the bar — and this time, it has yet another trick up its sleeve. The restaurant has launched its own cheese and non-alcoholic wine library.

Helmed by celebrated restaurateur Daniel Boulud, Café Boulud Riyadh is situated within the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, bringing a taste of fancy French dining to Saudi Arabia. Its latest innovation, the cheese and non-alcoholic wine library, is the first of its kind in the capital, exciting diners with this French tradition — but with a halal twist.

The cheese and non-alcoholic wine experience brings together over 60 rotating artisanal cheeses, premium cold cuts, and classy non-alcoholic wines. Curated by Philippe Caillouet, a renowned figure in the world of cheese, the library offers a full exploration of taste, pairing, and presentation. Philippe Caillouet personally guides guests through the pairings.

The cheeses range from hand-pressed Camembert to long-aged varieties, with each one paired with refined charcuterie, condiments, and accompaniments. Each highlights the cheese’s texture and flavour. On the beverage side, the focus is on indulgence — minus the alcohol. The offering has been curated to match the luxury experience, with standout names including Bella and Lussory, which produce halal-certified Merlot, Chardonnay, and more.

But the fun doesn’t stop there — it gets cheesier. From 2 September, Café Boulud will launch a weekly Cheese and Wine Pairing Masterclass. This will include a pre-dinner tasting of five curated cheeses, paired with Philippe Caillouet’s selection of condiments and non-alcoholic wines.

So, if you’re a cheese lover or curious to discover the French art of cheese, Café Boulud’s is worth exploring. Cafe Boulud Riyadh unveils first-of-its-kind cheese and non-alcoholic wine library.
