Cipriani Dolci has opened in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, marking the Italian brand’s long-awaited debut in Saudi Arabia. First announced for the Kingdom in 2023, the new restaurant brings the Cipriani name to one of the capital’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.
Located close to Akira Back, Cipriani Dolci Riyadh adds another major name to the Diplomatic Quarter’s growing dining scene. The area has become a key destination for restaurants, cafés and lifestyle-led hospitality concepts, attracting residents, visitors and business diners throughout the week.
Rooted in Venetian hospitality, Cipriani Dolci is known for its classic Italian dishes, elegant desserts and relaxed all-day dining format. The Riyadh opening continues that tradition, offering a menu that moves from morning coffee and pastries to long lunches, evening meals and sweet treats.
The interiors reflect the brand’s recognisable aesthetic, with green seating, white accents and natural materials used throughout the space. Maritime-inspired details nod to Cipriani’s Venetian origins, while warm lighting gives the venue an inviting feel from day to night. The restaurant can seat up to 170 guests across its indoor dining room and outdoor terrace, making it suitable for everything from casual breakfasts to business lunches and social dinners.
The menu focuses on Italian classics and the dishes that have helped define Cipriani around the world. Guests can order favourites such as the Carpaccio alla Cipriani and Baked Tagliolini, alongside a selection of comforting Italian plates built around quality ingredients and simple flavours.
As the name suggests, desserts are central to the Cipriani Dolci experience. The Riyadh restaurant serves a selection of pastries, cakes and signature sweets, including the Vanilla Meringue Cake and Torta di Cioccolato. These are joined by freshly baked pastries and Italian coffee, making the venue a strong option for an afternoon break as well as a full meal.
